Amy is president of the Wetjen Music Memorial, Inc. in memory of Bruce Wetjen, a gifted musician and composer, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who died tragically at 33 years old in 1987. The nonprofit fund has been giving annual scholarships and donations to worthy music programs and arts organizations for more than 25 years. We are especially proud to support Music Haven, providing free quality music programs for New Haven’s most underserved youth...and Perkins Elementary magnet school, Saint Pete, FL (attended by granddaughter Jocelyn) emphasizing hands-on learning in music & performing arts for its diverse student body.
